We always have Zozie see his Bento of the Day.  
He's in charge of assembly & packing into his lunch bag.  
This way, he gets a "preview" and feel like he helped create it!  
So far, he actually brings home an empty Bento box each day, so I guess he loves eating it too!

Lunches are SIMPLE when done by small portions limited by compartment size.  You don't think of things as a Whole Meal, but rather, little parts to a bigger picture.  It's been a blast coming up with surprises for him each lunch.

Re-usable silicon cups:  For his "Crunchy" & "Sweet" bites.
Crunchy items:  Nuts, Pretzels, Seaweed, Salad, anything that gives a crunch.
Sweet items:  Dried Cranberries, raisins, daily multi-vit gummy, anything to give a little smile at the end of a meal:)
